“This Will Be A Certified Hit” — Morgan Wallen Teases Demo Of New Song & Fans Are Begging Him To Release It

Music

Christmas came early for Morgan Wallen fans.

The country superstar teased a new song on Instagram a few minutes ago, and of course, there’s already tons of comments from fans begging him to release it and saying how much they like it.

It’s the first new music he’s teased in a while, and while a demo is basically a very rough, early version of a song, like everything else he touches right now, I’m sure it will be a future hit. The melody and production is actually pretty unique, though the subject matter is classic Wallen.

He finds himself in the wake of a breakup, sad that he’s no longer with this girl, but realizing that he might be better off without her:

“Everything’s still pretty much the same ’round here
Neighbor’s still shootin’ all of next years deer
The boy’s still lose but their playin’ at home
But I got better since you got gone
Still a few too many on a Friday night
Still try to step in when it ain’t my fight

I’m still me don’t get me wrong
But I got better since you got gone
Swear it was like I’ll be damned
I’m finally back to bein’ who I am
When we were over it was over night

Light came on it all felt right when it all went wrong
When you turned me loose wasn’t no tellin’ who I’d turn into
But it turns out me and you together’s why I took so long
‘Cu I got better since you got gone”

Morgan shared the video with the caption:

“Rough demo verse chorus of a song we wrote the other day. I do believe I like it.”

Listen here:

His comments section pretty much looks like this times thousands and thousands already:

“I do believe we need a new album sir.”

“I do believe I would love that new album whenever you wanna drop it.”

“A new tune for Christmas, we will take it!”

“I do believe we need a new album.”

“Morgan Wallen is the only one who can pull off makin’ bossanova country as sh*t! This will blow the roof!”

“Ya know what Morgan let’s just go ahead and drop the whole album.”

“Omg I literally cried and said stop teasing us Morgan!”

“RELEASE THE ALBUM ALREADY PLEASE.”

“I do believe I like it as well.”

“Yeesh.”

“I do believe this will be a certified hit. But what else is new?”

“Not listening because it’ll take 2 years to finally drop.”

“That boy good!”

“That’s actually so fire.”

“I do believe this may get streamed a few times.”

“I believe it’s fire.”

“If it’s not a banger, it’s not Wallen.”

“Bro doesn’t miss.”

“INCOMING HEATER.”

Morgan put out his One Thing at a Time album in 2023, and set out on his record breaking stadium tour this summer, which broke the record for the highest-selling country tour of all-time. He was recently sentenced for his chair-throwing incident that occurred at Chief’s in Nashville in the spring, and took home the coveted CMA award for Entertainer of the Year about a month ago now.He still has yet to publicly comment on it, which says a lot about the state of award shows in general, which I find particularly interesting.

It’s likely that Morgan will put out a new album sometime next year, and he’s already sold out his very first Sand In My Boots festival.

He put out a few singles, but I know fans will be more than ready for new music no matter what it is… and it sounds like Morgan’s already working on it and ready to deliver sooner rather than later.
