The visual features an array of behind-the-scenes and onstage footage of the Connecticut indie jam band

Connecticut indie jammers Goose have released a new music video for “Give It Time,” the first single from their upcoming album, Everything Must Go, out April 25 via No Coincidence Records.

Directed by Michael Nuchareno, the visual pairs the seven-minute tune with an array of behind-the-scenes footage of Goose and their crew in the studio and on the road, playing pick-up basketball, riding roller coasters, and hanging with a very big shaggy dog. When the song’s electrifying guitar solo kicks in, the video jumps to a montage of footage from Goose’s singular live shows.

Everything Must Go marks Goose’s fourth studio album, following 2022’s Dripfield. It was produced by D. James Goodwin, who was also behind the boards for Dripfield. And it’s the first Goose studio album to feature new drummer Cotter Ellis, who joined the band last year.

In a statement, Goose frontman Rick Mitarotonda said of the album, “These songs all come from different times and places in a way that captures a part of the journey of the band. It moves through time for us, but not in a tidy, linear way. Like the band, it’s okay for things to feel more like a landscape sometimes and less like a singular cohesive statement. It mixes different moods and ideas and characters. The through line is that each piece is part of that journey and that everyone is welcome to the party.”

Goose have a handful of dates lined up in February, but they’ll hit the road for real this summer in support of Everything Must Go. The trek kicks off May 30 at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon, and wraps June 29 at the Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut. Along the way, they’ll play a handful of festivals, including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, BotleRock Napa Valley, Bonnaroo, and All Good Now.
