Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 326 new cases and 26 new deaths, April 27

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 326 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 1,232,079 as of Tuesday, April 27.

Officials reported four 26 deaths linked to the coronavirus, for a total 23,801 deaths since tracking began.

There were four more hospitalizations reported since Monday, bringing the official count of hospitalizations to 411.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, more than 7,223,416 vaccine doses have been administered in Los Angeles County as of Monday, April 26.

Data posted each day is preliminary and subject to change, officials emphasize. More information may become available as individual case investigations are completed.
