Jon Pardi Debuts Music Video For Current Single “Tequila Little Time” On Cinco De Mayo

It’s Cinco de Mayo, and Jon Pardi is cleverly releasing his music video for his current single “Tequila Little Time” on the same day… coincidence? I think not.

I’ve loved this one for a long time, and it remains a fan favorite from his awesome 2019 album, Heartache Medication.

If this isn’t the go-to summer drinking song, I’m gonna be upset. The mariachi beat, the fun play on words… it makes me want a shot of tequila on the beach more than I can describe in words.

Jon wrote it on a writing retreat to California alongside Rhett Akins and Luke Laird. He told Billboard they knew it would be a hit once it passed the “boat test” on a later trip the Bahamas:

“My buddy has this badass boat, and I was like, ‘All right, we’re going to do the boat test.’

We were blaring ‘Tequila Little Time’ in the docks and just dancing, having a good time. And all the dock guys were like, ‘What’s this song?’ So, good boat test.”

The music video is set at the Flora-Bama, the iconic Florida bar on the gulf coast, and it is FUN. Of course, it features a mariachi band, dancing, lots of tequila and limes, and even one of Jon’s dogs, Cowboy.

Grab a marg and enjoy.
