Legendary Country Singer/Songwriter Tom T. Hall Passes Away At 85

Songwriter and country music legend Tom T. Hall has reportedly passed away today.

He was 85.

One of the best to ever play the game, Tom was responsible for writing hit songs like “Harper Valley PTA,” “I Like Beer,” ‘That’s How I Got To Memphis,” “Little Bitty,” and more.

The Olive Hill, Kentucky, native had a number of his own hit singles as well, including “That’s How I Got To Memphis,” “I Love,” “A Week In Country Jail,” “(Old Dogs, Children And) Watermelon Wine,” “I Care,” and more.

Nicknamed “The Storyteller,” the Grand Ole Opry member was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008.
