Two days ago, we got the news that Hardy is dropping Hixtape Vol. 2, a follow up to his highly popular collaborative album, Hixtape Vol. 1.
Featuring artists like Tracy Lawrence and Joe Diffie, Jake Owen, Morgan Wallen, Lauren Alaina, guitar legend Zakk Wylde and a ton more, Volume 1 featured collaborations with a ton of friends in the music world.
However, round two just might blow the original project out of the water…
33 artists and bands. 14 songs. And unlike the first edition, Hardy is only singing on 6 of the tracks.
Perhaps the most recognizable part of the original Hixtape was the album cover, featuring all of the guest artists drawn in cartoon figures. For Hixtape Vol. 2, they’ll be using the same concept, except this time the picture’s a little more full.
A quick look at the cover and we can gather that Vol. 2 will include the likes of Ronnie Dunn, Dierks Bentley, Midland, Lainey Wilson, Randy Houser, Brothers Osborne, Marty Stuart, Jon Pardi, David Lee Murphy, and a ton more.
Try and figure out the rest for yourself, it’s actually not all that easy…
A new song will be dropping every week for the next 14 weeks, with “Hometown Boys” leading off. The new song features Hardy, Matt Stell, and Dierks Bentley.
Stay tuned…
