Kid’s Mega-Viral Cover Of Johnny Cash’s “I Walk The Line” Will Have You Believing In Ghosts

Music

Holy moly, the kid looks 13 and sounds like he’s 55.

Meet Andrew Hensley.

Young Andrew here has people believing in reincarnation after this phenomenal cover of Johnny Cash’s “I Walk The Line” went viral. Written and recorded in 1956, at Sun Studio on April 2, “I Walk The Line” went on to become Cash’s first-ever number one hit.

“I wrote the song backstage one night in 1956 in Gladewater, Texas. I was newly married at the time, and I suppose I was laying out my pledge of devotion.”

Andrew, an Arden, North Carolina, native has a handful of covers and originals on his YouTube channel, but this one has earned him over a million views… and for good reason.

Some of the comments are hilarious:

“He sings like 3 of his wives already left him.”

“When he was born the doctor said ‘Congratulations it’s a man.’”

“This man is 55 yrs old with a very strict skin care routine.”

Just wait until he gets his heart broken by a pretty girl for the first time… then he’ll be unstoppable!”

“His puberty hits him at 6, damn son.”

“This kid inhales whatever is the opposite of helium”

Pretty damn good, eh?

He does a little “Ring Of Fire” too.

And finally, “Hurt,” which was originally written by Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor.

And here’s an original from Andrew, titled “Long Hair From No Where.”
