As if this lineup couldn’t get any better…
The Turnpike Troubadours are continuing their comeback with a stop at Floyd Fest in Floyd, Virginia, as they were just announced as headliners for the 2022 festival that is slated for July 27th through the 31st.
The festival previously announced an already stacked lineup, which includes artists like Morgan Wade (a Floyd, Virginia, native), American Aquarium, Marcus King, Sierra Ferrell, Trampled By Turtles, 49 Winchester and a ton more.
Turnpike will headline the festival alongside Old Crow Medicine Show and Lake Street Dive.
This announcement comes on the heels of several other show announcements today, which includes concerts at three iconic country music venues in Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth, and Floore’s Country Store in Helotes, Texas.
They previously announced two shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, as well.
I hear the views at Red Rocks are pretty incredible, but seeing Turnpike with a backdrop of my favorite Blue Ridge Mountains sounds pretty unreal to me.
