Before the great Robert Earl Keen rides off into the sunset, he’s at least having one more go with Tyler Childers.

Last week, REK announced that he would be hanging it up for good come this fall, citing that he wanted to retire from touring while he still loved it.

His touring career today, which will come to a close on September 4th, 2022 with a fan appreciation party set for Labor Day, September 5th, 2022.

But before that, he’ll be hitting the road with Tyler Childers one last time.

Robert Earl Keen was of course on the bill for Tyler’s epic 2019 Red Rocks show, and the two have a played a handful of other shows together over the past few years.

For more than a decade Robert Earl Keen has performed a fundraiser show for the Hill Country Youth Orchestras at the Cailloux Theater in Kerrville, Texas, and on February 26th, he’ll deliver his final performance alongside Tyler Childers.

All proceeds will go to the Hill Country Youth Orchestras Scholarship & Endowment Fund.
