Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 889 new cases and 21 more deaths, March 25

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 889 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 2,829,091 as of Friday, March 25.

Officials reported 21 more deaths linked to the coronavirus, for a total of 31,576 deaths since tracking began.

There was one fewer hospitalization reported since Thursday, bringing the total count of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 350.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 75% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
