Watch A Young Chris Stapleton Perform The Unreleased Hidden Gem “Treat You Right” Back In 2006

Music

At what point does sharing a stage with Chris Stapleton go from being and honor, to downright terrifying?

I mean, I sure as hell don’t want to be the artist that has to follow this…

All the way back on 2006, Chris Stapleton took the stage at Sandy Beaches Cruise 12 for a knockout performance of a song called “Treat You Right.”

Written by Chris himself, it was recorded by a band called Sixtyfourwest for an EP of the same name back in 2011, but other than that, we haven’t really heard it anywhere else.

By the time Chris finishes that first verse, the whole crowd is already hollering.

He’s not human…

Chris Stapleton To Release “Joy Of My Life” As Next Single

Looks like we have a new single from Chris Stapleton coming our way.

The singer-songwriter announced that “Joy Of My Life” will be the latest single, the third from his 2020 album, Starting Over.

Originally written and recorded by Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty, “Joy Of My Life” was released on his 1997 solo album, Blue Moon Swamp.

Believe it or not, Chris hasn’t actually had the radio success you’d expect from one of the most talented artists in the genre (that’s country radio for ya), but he is coming off his third-career #1 single with “You Should Probably Leave.”

However, when you combine the silky smooth vocals from Stapleton, along with the heart melting lyrics about someone telling their significant other just how special they are to them, you already know the song has some serious potential to reach mainstream success. He just might be looking at back to back hits.

This news comes after his announcement of his 2022 All-American Road Show Tour crew, which will make a stop in Atlantic City April 9th, featuring the likes of Margo Price, Yola, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Elle King, Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Morgan Wade, and even a performance with the King himself, George Strait.
