Brad Paisley Hilariously Changes Instagram Bio To “I Write Songs For Post Malone”

Music

Could it be?

Who could forget Post Malone’s incredible country covers at Matthew McConaughey’s “We’re Texas” virtual benefit concert last year, which featured performances of Sturgill Simpson’s “You Can Have the Crown,” and Brad Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her.”

Every country music fan on this planet was shocked at Posty’s versatility, along with the fact that his voice transitions quite well to country music. Not to mention,, he had Dwight Yoakam’s band backing him.

Hell, even Brad Paisley said:

“Always humbling when another artist does your song better than you.”

Needless to say, we were all hoping that this was a sign of Posty dipping his toes into country music, with a possibility of an album in the future. He even admitted recently in an interview that there’s nothing stopping him from cutting his own country record.

However, that’s still on standby for now.

But speaking of Brad Paisley, the famed country singer has been high on the hawg for Post Malone, and aside from him saying Posty’s cover was better than his own version, he’s also made another hilarious move…

By changing his Instagram bio to:

“I write songs for Post Malone.”

Now, I’m sure this is 1,000% a joke, but there’s a part of me that wants to believe this could have a much deeper meaning…

Like him and Posty recording a country song together?

Man, a guy can wish, can’t he?

But for now, enjoy two of the greatest country covers you’ll ever hear:
