Watch Travis Tritt & Marty Stuart Burn The House Down With “Modern Day Bonnie & Clyde”

Music

Can we start a petition to bring back country music television shows?

I mean The Dolly Parton Show, The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour, The Johnny Cash Show, and even into early 2002, The Marty Stuart Show.

One of my favorite past times is watching clips from old TV recordings… country music TV is my definition of the golden era.

The most recently old clip I have fallen in love with is Travis Tritt’s guest appearance on The Marty Stuart Show.

Now, the exact year of this appearance is not specified, but Tritt and Stuart nearly burn the studio down performing Tritt’s hit “Modern Day Bonnie And Clyde.”

This was the last single from his 2000 album Down The Road I Go, as well as Tritt’s last top ten single to date.

The song is a classic, and Stuart is the perfect person to accompany him in a duet on it. Their energy on stage together is pure electricity as they get down to the music and you can tell, they’re having a damn good time doing it.

For fun, here are some other clips of Tritt and Stuart performing during this episode.

“The Whiskey Ain’t Workin’”

“Here’s A Quarter”

“Where Corn Don’t Grow”
