Ella Langley Teases “Make Me Wanna Smoke” From Her Debut EP Dropping Next Week

Music

The countdown is on.

Ella Langley‘s debut EP, Excuse the Mess, officially drops this Friday, and man, am I excited.

She shared her excitement for the album on Instagram earlier this month.

“My debut EP comes out in 16 days, and I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge all of the incredible writers, players, and producers that helped make this project everything it is. May 19th can’t get here fast enough!”

This up-and-coming star has been big on our radar with her unapologetic twang and rock sound. She is here to make heads turn with her clever lyrics about slightly toxic relationships (we all love them, right?).

We got a little taste of Langley’s sound from her single, “This Is Why We Fight,” featuring Koe Wetzel. The rock and roll honky tonk tune features heavy guitar riffs and banging drums that will have you nodding your head along and singing the lyrics in no time.

If you haven’t already, give it a listen here.

The other day, Langley teased another single that will appear on her EP, “Make Me Wanna Smoke.”

This song follows the same rock and roll sound. And wow, this clip shows off the vocal capability of Langley. She notes in the caption that she has been playing this song live over the past year, so if you’ve been in the crowd, I’m sure this will sound familiar.

The chorus has been stuck in my head since I heard this.

“You make me wanna smoke; you make me wanna quit; you make me wanna drink till I’m sick of it.

You make wanna hid away my heart, make me wanna let you take it way too far….”

Will be cranking this one on max volume come May 19th.
