One person died Tuesday after a vehicle careened 150 feet down the side of a cliff in the Rancho Palos Verdes area, authorities said.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the area of Palos Verdes Drive West and Calle Entradero at around 2:40 p.m. and found a vehicle that had fallen down the cliffside.
Firefighters found a man who was pronounced dead at the scene. Ground and aerial units searched for possibly more victims, but none were immediately found..
Why the car fell down the cliff is unknown.
