The best part of music is how it brings us all together.
Yellowstone creator and Four Sixes Ranch owner Taylor Sheridan and country artist/actor Ryan Bingham just announced a benefit concert to support people affected by the numerous wildfire that broke out in Texas earlier this year.
One of the fires, dubbed the Smokehouse Creek Fire, was the largest wildfire in Lone Star State history, burning more than 1 million acres in the northeastern Texas panhandle. At least two people died, along with an uncountable amount of livestock and many farm structures.
The concert will take place on May 6th at Hotel Drover in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards and all proceeds will support the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Disaster Relief Fund, which provides direct cash payments to farmers to rebuild their operation.
Of the event, Sheridan said:
“The Panhandle fires have devastated family, friends and fellow ranchers. It is incumbent upon all of us to help in any way possible, as we know they would do the same for us.”
Of course, Ryan himself will be performing the music. While the mainstream public got to know him as “Walker” on Yellowstone, country music fans have long loved the barebones, deep cutting music he’s been releasing since at least 2007.
