A fire at a tire recycling business in South Gate prompted a shelter-in-place order on Sunday, fire officials said.
The blaze was reported shortly after 2 p.m. near the intersection of Industrial Avenue and Wilson Avenue. It was knocked down around 5:15 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The shelter-in-place order has since been lifted. No injuries were reported, officials said.
Details on what started the fire are unclear.
