Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly said Donald Trump shouldn’t throw stones in glass houses after the president criticized former counterterrorism chief Joe Kent’s new marriage.
During her appearance on the latest episode of the Hodgetwins Podcast, Kelly touched on Trump’s latest comments, in which he criticized Kent for marrying Heather Kaiser Kent, four years after his first wife, Navy officer Shannon Kent, died in combat.
“Talk about a glass house!” Kelly said, per RealityTea. “Trump has cheated on every wife he’s had. I mean, he met Marla Maples while he was still married to the mother of his children, Ivana. It was all over the New York papers… like, he was proud of the affair!”

She also brought up an old accusation against Trump, saying, “And by the way, Ivana, his first wife, accused him of raping her.” Ivana later retracted her allegation, both in 1993 and again during Trump’s 2015 presidential campaign. Kelly made note of that, adding, “I don’t know whether that’s true or not, but just saying, clearly not a great relationship there.”
Kelly then turned her attention to the First Lady, saying, “If you think Trump’s been faithful to Melania, that’s great. You’ve got bigger issues than I can solve here.”

Trump married Ivana in 1977, and they had three children together: Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. They divorced in 1990 following Trump’s affair with model and actress Marla Maples. He and Marples married in 1993 and had a daughter, Tiffany, before divorcing in 1999. Trump married Melania in 2005, and the couple welcomed a son, Barron, in 2006.
The topic of infidelity came up in 2018 when Trump was involved in a criminal case over an alleged “hush money” payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels regarding an alleged sexual encounter in 2006.
Melania was asked about Trump’s alleged infidelities during a Good Morning America interview in October 2025. “It is not a concern and focus of mine,” she said. “I’m a mother and a first lady, and I have much more important things to think about and to do. I know people like to speculate, and the media like to speculate about our marriage.”
