That was a pretty close call…
Shania Twain is currently opening a run of shows for pop star London leg of his massive Together, Together stadium residency at Wembley Stadium, and they played two shows this weekend, on Friday and Saturday night.
But on Friday night, she had a pretty revealing outfit on, which featured a sheer, long sleeve black lacy top and what looks like just a bra and some sort of spanx underneath. There wasn’t a ton of coverage on the bottom half of her body, and when she squatted down while performing “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!”, let’s just say the massive crowd almost got a very exposed look at her.
A fan shared a video of the near wardrobe malfunction, which has nearly two million views and counting:

I totally get wanting to still feel good about yourself, and I have no issue with her wearing what she wants and feeling hot, that’s important no matter what age you are, but this felt like it was just not the right look, and fans in the comments were not super… impressed, to quote her own song:

I’m not sure that’s really a good outfit for anyone, and it’s a good thing it wasn’t worse, honestly.
Twain is gearing up to release a new album called Little Miss Twain on July 24th, and she’s spoken at-length about how hard it’s been for her to embrace menopause and find her sexiness again, but let’s be honest, she never really did and she will always be the queen of pop country… but maybe that’s a look they should keep on the hanger next time.
