Where to find FIFA Fan Zones in LA to watch the World Cup – NBC Los Angeles

World Cup watch parties are coming to the Whittier Narrows and Venice Beach as the final eight teams square off in the world’s biggest soccer tournament.

The FIFA Fan Zone community events feature live match broadcasts, fan activations, music, food and more. Each Zone will offer a “distinct and locally inspired experience,” according to the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee.

The Los Angeles County Whittier Narrows Fan Zone opens Thursday and continues through Saturday. The Venice Beach Fan Zone is scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

Upcoming matchups pit France against Morocco at 1 p.m. Thursday and Spain against Belgium at noon Friday. On Saturday Norway faces England at 2 p.m. and defending champions Argentina take on Switzerland

Below, dates, locations, ticket information and more for the remaining Los Angeles-area World Cup 26 Fan Zones.

Los Angeles County Whittier Narrows: July 9-11

Admission: Free community celebration.
What to expect: Semifinal matches and key late-stage tournament matches, plus cultural activities, community marketplace and a range of local food in El Monte.

Venice Beach: July 10-11

Admission: Ticketed beachfront Fan Zone, general admission starting at $10 with VIP options available.
What to expect: Knockout stage matches, global food vendors and beverage gardens, live music, DJs, cultural performances and additional family programming.

Fairplex: July 14-15 and July 18-19

Admission: $10 for all four days through May 31; $20 after May 31; VIP options available.
What to expect: Multi-game packages, including semifinals, third-place and final. The event will include interactive games, crafts, appearances from local mascots, educational “science of soccer” exhibitions and activities, and a house DJ.

West Harbor: July 14-15 & July 18-19

Admission: Ticketed waterfront Fan Zone experience $5 per ticket with VIP options available.
What to expect: Semifinal and final matches with soccer-inspired activities, interactive experiences, great food, drinks, and a live DJ.

Downtown Burbank: July 18-19

Admission: Ticketed event starting at $25.
What to expect: Tournament’s final matches, plus live entertainment, family-friendly games, VIP Experiences, and an adjacent free international street fair with global flavors and cultural experiences.

About the 2026 World Cup

The group stage lasts until June 27, then the top two teams in each group along with the eight best third-place finishers will advance to the Round of 32 beginning on June 28.

The remaining winning teams will then play in the Round of 16 starting on July 4. The quarterfinals will be held on July 9, and the semifinals will be July 14 and July 15, leading up to the championship match at MetLife Stadium on July 19.

Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium, renamed Los Angeles Stadium for the tournament, is one of the venues that will host the international soccer tournament. There were five group stage matches at the stadium and three knockout phase games

Other U.S. host cities are Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, Seattle and the Bay Area.

Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey are Mexico’s host cities. Toronto and Vancouver will host matches in Canada.
