Alix Earle is taking her public feud with Alex Cooper to Netflix.
Last year, Earle abruptly exited Unwell, Cooper’s media network, after only two years with the company. The two social media powerhouses have since danced around what exactly led to their fallout, and in April, the Call Her Daddy host called out Earle over her “passive-aggressive reposts” online. While Earle teased that she’d address the issue, nothing concrete has come to light.
Now, Earle is ready to talk. In an interview with Time magazine published Tuesday, Earle confirmed that she’ll discuss her spat with Cooper on her new Netflix reality series, Earle Meets World, which is set to release in the fall.
“It’s something I’m going to talk about on the show,” Earle said. “That was one of the things in the beginning they wanted me to talk about, and I really wasn’t comfortable sharing,” Earle added. “Then everything unfolded the way it did while we were filming. There was a serious struggle behind the scenes of emotions, and my family showed up for me. Those moments that sometimes seem so fun for people online, but are hard behind the scenes — I am happy that we were able to capture that.”
After exiting Unwell, Earle had a massive year, appearing on Dancing with the Stars, expanding her TikTok and Instagram followings, and in March, launching her own skincare line, Reale Actives. The brand made $1 million in sales within the first five minutes of its debut, and sold out by day’s end, per Time.
Cooper has similarly thrived. Call Her Daddy has continued to feature stars across multiple industries including Michelle Obama, Hilary Duff, and Zayn Malik. As Cooper expands her Unwell empire, she is also set to roll out four new shows on YouTube, including a reality competition series, a microdrama, and a docuseries on the Met Gala. She most recently hosted the 20th-anniversary Hannah Montana special with Miley Cyrus.
