Two people were found dead overnight after firefighters extinguished a house fire in Santa Monica.
The fire was reported just before 3 a.m. Sunday at a home on the 500 block of Lincoln Boulevard, the police department said. Upon arrival, the home was fully engulfed in flames.
After firefighters extinguished the blaze, they found two people dead inside the home. Details on those individuals, such as their gender and approximate age, were not disclosed.
It’s not clear what caused the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
