Traffic on the 5 Freeway north of Los Angeles slowed Monday morning due to a crash at the end of a chase in the Santa Clarita area.
The crash was reported on the 5 Freeway near the 14 Freeway interchange. The pursuit driver in a SUV collided with another SUV.
The chase driver was taken into custody at the scene of the crash. A person in the other SUV was injured, but details about that person’s condition were not immediately available.
The pursuit began on the 5 Freeway south of Templin Highway after a report of a stolen Audi sedan.
