Keeping her sights on what really matters.
Ella Langley is currently on a generational run, with her hit “Choosin’ Texas,” that’s really more of a phenomenon at this point, being the driving force behind it all. As it stands today, “Choosin’ Texas” is the longest-running #1 hit by a female country artist on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, the only country song by a woman to triple up and go #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, Hot Country and Country Airplay chart simultaneously and now the third-longest-running hit in U.S. HISTORY.
After securing its 17th frame at #1 last week and securing more weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 in 2026 than all other artists COMBINED, this week, Choosin’ Texas” remained at #1 for its 18th frame, garnering 25 million official streams, 54.6 million airplays on radio and 8,000 units sold. She now owns the third-longest-running #1 hit in terms of weeks spent at the top, only behind the likes of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” (22 weeks), Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” (19 weeks) and Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Old Town Road” (19 weeks).
Of course, that song was part of her recent Dandelion album, which has also been a huge success… but it’s not just the music that Ella has been spotlighting night after night on the road.
During a stop in Texas over the weekend, Ella once again delivered a sermon to the crowd, which she’s been doing at every stop, encouraging her fans to find love in Jesus, which she says is more than she could ever ask for in this life.
She added that, no matter how hard life gets or how much she questions herself, she has the “most important person that could love me, loving me and that’s all I need.” It was a beautiful introduction to her song “Loving Life Again,” which is easily one of my favorite Ella songs:
“I want you to know that you are loved. You are so loved. Not just by the people you’re here with, but by Jesus Christ and that’s all you can ask for in this life. I know I look like I’ve got it all figured out up here, but I do not. I’m living every day flying by the seat of my pants.
And I’m just so thankful that no matter how hard it gets, no matter how many times I question myself, I have the most important person that could love me, loving me and that’s all I need. Nothing else, above nothing else, that gets me back to loving life again.”
Ella’s fearlessness in sharing her faith and the hope of Jesus with the world is beyond incredible, especially considering she has the entire world watching her right now. She using that opportunity to bring the life-changing Gospel message to massive crowds people. People who, like all of us, desperately need to hear it.
I am so excited to see how her career has taken off, but more importantly, how she’s been using this attention and her now-massive platform to share her faith:
Turn it up…
“Loving Life Again”
