A teenager was taken to the hospital after being shot at a burger restaurant in Oxnard on Friday night, officials said.

Officers and EMS personnel responded to a shooting at the Five Guys in the 2700 block of Portico Way just before 8:30 p.m., according to the Oxnard Police Department.

When they arrived, they found a 19-year-old man with one gunshot wound. Details about what led up to the shooting were unclear.

The teenager was taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said. No one else was injured in the shooting.

Officials have not released any information about a possible suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
