Morgan Wallen Has Fans In A Frenzy With Cryptic GTA 6 Teaser

Music

He’s up to something…

Morgan Wallen had a heck of a 2026, as his fourth studio album, I’m the Problem, officially became the most popular album in the United States across all genres for the first half of the year (according to Luminate data reported by Billboard). It earned over 2.035 million equivalent album units during the tracking period, leading the charts for the second consecutive year. He also extended his lead as the highest-certified country artist in RIAA history, reaching a staggering 265.5 million certified units and became the first artist ever to simultaneously occupy the entire Top 10 of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

In addition, his 23-date North American stadium tour completely sold out, and it’s projected that the tour to will gross up to $500 million, putting it on pace to potentially be the top-grossing tour of 2026 across any musical genre.

And it seems like he might be ready to run it back.

His official fan club Instagram account shared a cryptic teaser this morning, with a video that shows Morgan at a concert interacting with fans along with the caption:

“You 🤝 Me.”

It definitely hints that a 2027 tour announcement is coming soon, and I have to imagine that includes new music too if he’s going to go on another huge tour next year:

Morgan has made a few comments here and there about being ready to start releasing new music, and he put out a new single “Been By Now” in July, which I have to imagine is part of some sort of project he’s working on.

He put out I’m The Problem in May of 2025 and has done two tours to promote it, so it’s definitely time for him to turn to the next chapter of music, and of course, he will likely support that with another stadium tour.

Fans in the comments definitely seem to think that post is a teaser for a tour announcement, and I tend to agree:

“Oh please tell me thank yew season is coming back.”

“Let’s run it back next summer!”

“Does this mean we are getting 2027 dates.”

“Omg is he announcing another tour.”

“Free Morgan of hibernation right now we miss him.”

Then, Morgan then shared his own teaser on his X account, posting a picture of some animated artwork that shows the side of a well-worn pool, a ladder and two pool chairs near the edge, which the fan account also shared. It has the same visual aura that the popular video game franchise Grand Theft Auto uses, and with GTA 6 coming in November, it appears that either him as a voice actor, or his music, will be featured in the game in some capacity:

Rapper Travis Scott also shared a similar photo so it’s pretty safe to say that Morgan will be making some kind of appearance in the highly-anticipated game. Fans have been waiting a whopping 13 YEARS for the next installment of the game, so much so that a popular meme template or internet joke has been “We got _____ before GTA 6.” The game is officially set for release on November 19th on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

There’s no denying that he’s the biggest act in country, and pretty much all of music, even though he was snubbed by the CMA Awards this year and didn’t receive any solo nominations, he’s not going to be slowing down anytime soon.

Stay tuned…
