Authorities are searching for three people connected to a shooting in West Hollywood on Thursday.
Someone reported hearing gunshots and seeing a person shot near a black Ferrari parked in front of a business on Holloway Drive near Hancock Park, adjacent to the Sunset Strip, around 5:15 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
When deputies arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover from his injuries, the LASD said.
Officials say the three suspects were described as men wearing face masks, black hooded sweatshirts, black pants and black shoes, last seen heading east on Holloway Drive in a silver vehicle. No one has been taken into custody as of 8 p.m.
At least 10 shell casing were found in the area, the sheriff’s department said.
Video showed several LASD vehicles and deputies in the area sectioned off by yellow tape.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the West Hollywood Station at 310-855-8850.
This is a developing story.
