4 men arrested in connection with West Hollywood armed robbery – NBC Los Angeles

California

Four men were arrested in connection with an armed robbery in West Hollywood on Monday, authorities said.

Deputies responded to a reported robbery in the 1100 block of Poinsettia Place early Monday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Investigators say a man was returning to his vehicle when four men wearing masks came out of a black BMW and pointed a firearm at him before demanding his property. The suspects then left the area in an unknown direction.

Shortly after the incident, the Los Angeles Police Department stopped a speeding black BMW on Melrose that turned out to be the suspects’ vehicle.

The four suspects were taken into custody, and items taken from the victim, as well as a replica firearm, were recovered from inside the car, the LASD said.

This comes less than a week after “Pretty Little Liars” actor Keegan Allen said two men robbed him of his Rolex watch and hit him in the head in West Hollywood. The actor shared a video to social media that showed his face covered in blood following the incident.

Law enforcement sources said those arrested Monday were not related to Allen’s case, in which no arrests have been made.

Extra patrols have been added in the area in response to the recent robberies, the sheriff’s department said.
