Thieves stole designer handbags and an amethyst stone during a home burglary in Sherman Oaks, the Los Angeles Police Department told NBC4 on Monday.
The burglary occurred around 8 p.m. at a home in the 14000 block of Greenleaf Street, police said.
More than $160,000 worth of designer handbags and an Amethyst stone were taken, according to LAPD.
Authorities said thieves shattered a rear glass door to gain entry into the home.
Once inside, they ransacked the residence before fleeing with the designer handbags and amethyst stone.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
