In the luxurious ambiance of Fontainebleau Las Vegas’ Poodle Room, the Mount Rushmore Super Bash, meticulously curated by Fat Cats LIVE! in collaboration with the Y.E.S. Society, unfolded as an extraordinary spectacle transcending mere celebration. Endorsed by the exquisite Grand Marnier and guided by the illustrious trio of Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Jeffrey Soffer, and Brett Mufson, the soirée paid homage to the pinnacle of achievement and those aspiring to historical immortality.

Brett Mufson, deeply moved, expressed, “Thank you all for being here. It’s been a 15-year journey. Seeing all of you enjoying what we’ve poured our blood, sweat, and tears into is truly emotional.”

The gala witnessed a convergence of luminaries including Doug Williams alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Shannon Sharp, Marcus Allen, Jerome Bettis, Tony Gonzales, Angela Rye, French Montana, Lance Bass, Blanco Brown, Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, DJ Whoo Kid, DJ D’Nice, Shawn Porter, Becca Brazil, Ashlee Keating, Porscha Coleman, Joy Taylor, and many others, celebrating the rich mosaic of American pop culture, embodying freedom and hope.

“Mount Rushmore is about honoring excellence, both locally and nationally. It’s especially meaningful to do so during Black History Month, as we celebrate the achievements of extraordinary individuals. My own journey, culminating in becoming the first African American owner of an NFL team, The Washington Commanders, and acknowledging Doug Williams, the first Black quarterback to win the Super Bowl, reflects this spirit of recognition and gratitude,” eloquently stated Magic Johnson.

In alignment with the Y.E.S. Society’s mission to unite through the universal languages of performance arts, sports, fashion, music, food, technology, and above all, love, the event also highlighted Jerrell Deborah Hall. As Principal of Matt Kelly Elementary School, Hall exemplifies the society’s mission through her dedication to supporting underprivileged students in Las Vegas, inviting contributions to her projects via Donors Choose, thus seamlessly weaving the organization’s ethos into the evening’s fabric.

Acknowledgments were extended to the event’s sponsors, including Grand Marnier and other notable brands, for their integral role in the success of this grand affair. Andre Cleveland, the visionary behind Fat Cats LIVE! and a driving force within The Y.E.S. Society, praised the collaborative effort that brought the event to fruition, from the seamless introduction by Steve Hill of the LVCVA to the Fontainebleau family, to the indispensable support of the production team and Jade Umbrella PR.

This event was not merely a celebration but a heartfelt tribute to the achievements that shape our national narrative. In alignment with the mission of The Y.E.S. Society, it underscored the power of unity, love, and the diverse achievements contributing to our collective identity. Magic Johnson’s Mount Rushmore Super Bash thus became a beacon of hope and progress, particularly poignant during Black History Month, heralding a promising future for black-owned enterprises in the casino industry.
