Cinemagoers were clearly ready for some fighting this weekend –– and even with a more comical tone, ‘Street Fighter’ was what they opted for. The Paramount title, which is the latest go-around for the Capcom video game title on the big screen, opened to $31 million at the box office.
Perhaps the biggest surprise success story was A24’s new Nathan Fielder documentary ‘You Can See Everything,’ about Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, which landed second with $12 million.
